After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Bob Forooghi completed his Doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of California, San Francisco, before beginning his residency at the University of Pittsburgh. While there, he received advanced training in alveolar dental surgery, sedation anesthesia, and special needs dentistry. He was also recognized for developing improved training methods for the predoctoral program.
Dr. Forooghi returned to Los Angeles to practice dentistry and join the UCLA School of Dentistry faculty. With a deep-rooted interest in surgery, he continued his sedation and dental implant training, including full mouth rehabilitation and alveolar regeneration.
Sedation dentistry is now a staple in his practice, and he focuses on providing the best care possible in the most comfortable manner available for each patient.
Dr. Forooghi is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has served on the Los Angeles Dental Society board. He also received the Quintessence Award for Excellence in Dentistry.
