A dental implant is actually a replacement for the root or roots of a tooth. Like tooth roots, dental implants are secured in the jawbone and are not visible once surgically placed. They are used to secure crowns (the parts of teeth seen in the mouth), bridgework or dentures by a variety of means. They are made of titanium, which is lightweight, strong and biocompatible, which means that it is not rejected by the body. Titanium and titanium alloys are the most widely used metals in both dental and other bone implants, such as orthopedic joint replacements. Dental implants have the highest success rate of any implanted surgical device.
LASER GUM TREATMENT
A non-invasive treatment for bleeding and receding gums, loose teeth, and mouth odor.
The Laser probe can significantly reduce the level of bacteria under the gum that causes periodontal disease.
Sedation dentistry involves oral sedation by taking a pill before receiving dental work. This is great for people who feel anxiety before receiving medical treatment, and is much more simple than receiving sedation intravenously.
Digital X – rays
The physical process for digital radiography is actually similar to traditional dental X-rays that use film: With digital radiography, your dentist inserts a sensor into your mouth to capture images of your teeth -- but that's where the similarities between conventional and digital dental X-rays end. Although it resembles the film used for bitewings and other X-rays, the digital sensor is electronic and connected to a computer. Once the X-ray is taken, the image is projected on a screen for your dentist to view. They have less radiation, higher quality images, and can easily be sent between dental offices.
Panoramic X Rays
A panoramic radiograph is a panoramic scanning dental X-ray of the upper and lower jaw. It shows a two-dimensional view of a half-circle from ear to ear. Panoramic radiography is a form of tomography; thus, images of multiple planes are taken to make up the composite panoramic image.Dental Services Cosmetic Dentistry Restorative Dentistry Periodontics Dentistry Orthodontics Dentistry Other Dental Services
